Memory..

Everyone whose working will say that studying is better then working..
its true until 'they' start studying again..
then 'they' just wish that 'they' were 'working' again..
and by 'they', i mean myself..
and by 'working', i mean sitting by the beach sipping coconut juice..nice..
i hate the memorizing part of studying..
i've always had a photographic memory..
the problem is that i can never find the film..
pisses me off..

aaanyways, better get back to it..

p/s: and by 'getting back to it', i mean sleep..

Between calls and patients...

i just had to go to the emergency department to see an 18yr old with a right peritonsillar abscess
the good thing was that these are the very few times that the emergency MO got the diagnosis right..
so i wasn't pissed off at all when i got there..
that is until i met the patient..
she was unwilling to speak, eat or open her mouth..
she kept the abscess for the past 1 week..
seriously ticked me off..
baik balik rumah and keep it another week je if camtuh..
i see that with a lot of patients..waiting until the last min before they actually come to hospital..
really Malaysian culture..
when will we change..

p/s: thank god i've got a place to vent..this 'service with a smile' thing takes a real big chunk out of you if you have to deal with people's stupidity..

Dont people work on Mondays anymore?

This is the story of the very few times i get to not show up for work on a monday..
i decided to get a haircut and get some groceries on my day off only to find that, its full..
evereywhere is full of people..
it looks like a weekend..but its a monday..
dammit..
there goes the sanctity of a monday leave from work..

on another more relaxed note, my friend showed me klpac district the other day..
its unimaginable that that place is in the middle of kl..
it was a nice change..
if only i can get another monday off so i can take my wife there..hmmm...
